Cookbook Club

Bring a recipe or dish to share and talk about food! Participants will be asked to sign a one-time waiver since there will be sharing of food dishes. Moderated by Renell Roebuck. Meets the 2nd Thursday of every other month at 6:30pm.

Gaslight Classics Book Club

A book discussion group dedicated to the reading and appreciation of literature that has stood the test of time. Moderated by Herb Kierspel. Meets the 4th Monday of every month at 1:00pm.

Ladies Night Book Club

We read a variety of fiction and occasionally nonfiction. Nothing is off the table for this group that enjoys a lively discussion. Moderated by staff librarians. Meets the 3rd Monday of every other month at 6:30pm.

Murders & Mysteries Book Club

Try this staff-led book club and become an amateur investigator with us! Meets the 3rd Tuesday of every other month at 6:30 pm.

Soul of Literature Book Club

A group for the discussion of both classic and popular writings by African American authors. Moderated by Dr. Linda Crowell. Meets the 1st Monday of every month at 6:00pm. Does not meet in June, July, or August.
The May and September meetings are in person; all other meetings are on Zoom.

Writers Group

Gain access to a network of support for your writing as well as valuable information to help you on your way. Enjoy occasional guest speakers and workshops on specific topics. The group is for participants aged 18 and older. Moderated by staff. Meets on Zoom on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm.
