Tech Lending

Twinsburg Public Library offers devices and accompanying equipment (i.e. chargers, headphones, wall adapters) that may be checked out by patrons.

Policies and Forms

  • Please see the Equipment Loan Policy before checking out any equipment.
  • Equipment Loan Form - Required to check out available Library equipment that falls within a set price range (determined by the Library and subject to change). You must provide your library card, valid driver's license, and be 18 years of age or older to borrow equipment. This form only needs to be filled out once.
  • Laptop Addendum - Accompanies the Equipment Loan Policy Form; both forms are required in order to check out a laptop.

Note: The Twinsburg Public Library and other local libraries have seen a major increase in the misuse and theft of library cards and materials. The following rules apply to equipment checkouts.

  • Regardless of the rules of a patron’s home CLEVNET library, TPL policies will be applied to TPL materials. While some other CLEVNET libraries allow juveniles to check out devices, juveniles may not check out devices belonging to the Twinsburg Public Library.
  • Staff may check IDs to confirm ownership of the library card when devices are checked out.
  • A juvenile must be present if his/her card is being used to check out materials.
  • Devices may not be checked out on temporary cards.
