Home delivery service is available free of charge to anyone residing in the Twinsburg school district who is unable to come to the Library due to illness, disability, or caregiver responsibilities. Delivery and pick-up of library materials are done by qualified volunteers.
Am I eligible?
If you live in the Twinsburg school district, have an illness or disability, or have caregiver responsibilities that prevent you from coming to the library, you are eligible for this free service. This includes temporary service while you are recovering from surgery.
How do I sign up?
Click HERE to fill out an application form online, have someone pick up the form at a Library service desk, or click HERE to print a copy of the form. Paper forms can be dropped off at any Library service desk or faxed to (330) 425-3622. If you fill out the electronic form, no further action is required.
What materials can I have delivered?
Books, audiobooks, CDs, magazines, and DVDs are available.
Can you just select materials for me? I have a friend who can pick them up.
Yes, if you have applied for Homebound Service, we are glad to select materials, check them out in advance, and hold them for pick-up. We just need to know what day your friend will be coming.
What if my books become overdue, or even lost?
Home delivery customers are not charged overdue fines for Twinsburg Public Library items. You are responsible for lost or damaged items, however. Also, materials from other libraries will be charged the appropriate overdue fines for those libraries.
When can I start delivery?
We will call within one week of your application to arrange a visit.
I would like to volunteer to deliver materials. What should I do?
Visit our volunteer page to fill out a volunteer application. Home delivery service volunteers are required to fill out an additional application. Print out the additional application and bring it in to the library, or contact the Reference Desk at (330) 425-4268 x2 to find out how you can e-mail it in.
